Responsibilities

Partner with executive and functional leaders to drive annual and quarterly planning, including goal setting, OKRs, and performance tracking
Translate enterprise and business unit strategy into clear operating plans with defined milestones, owners, and success metrics
Lead high-priority strategic initiatives such as new product launches, operating model changes, efficiency programs, and regulatory-driven efforts
Own the business operating cadence, including weekly and monthly reviews, executive readouts, and KPI dashboards
Develop and maintain metrics that track business health across growth, profitability, efficiency, and risk
Identify performance gaps and partner cross-functionally to drive corrective actions
Design and improve end-to-end business processes to support scale, speed, and compliance
Partner with Finance and FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation aligned to strategic priorities
Drive operational discipline in a complex environment spanning multiple products, bank partnerships, and regulatory requirements
Serve as a key connector across Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and Operations
Influence without authority to align stakeholders, resolve tradeoffs, and accelerate decision-making
Support leadership communications, including executive presentations and board-level materials, as needed
Build and lead a high-performing Business Operations function over time
Hire, coach, and develop talent while establishing best practices, playbooks, and operating standards

Required

10+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, consulting, finance, or related roles with increasing leadership responsibility
Experience operating in a highly regulated environment such as fintech, financial services, banking, or payments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights
Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders
Willingness to dive into the details to understand complex issues and drive execution
Experience building and leading teams
Bachelor's degree in a related field; or equivalent work experience

Preferred

Prior experience at a fintech, marketplace, or technology-enabled financial services company
Background in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy combined with operating experience
Familiarity with LendingClub's core products (personal loans, auto refinance, deposits) or similar consumer financial products
