Responsibilities
Install, patch, maintain and monitor Oracle databases
Create and maintain SQL and PL/SQL queries and shell scripts
Monitor, and verify backups and perform ad-hoc backups
Provide maintenance support for database systems
Data Extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
Perform routine security and authentication measures
Database tuning and troubleshooting
Support reporting products as required by the Department of Commerce
Mentoring
Oversee daily operations with MLO and ML1
Coordinate with the vendor for application side issues
Provide reports and reporting as requested by the business
Support Department of Commerce projects as requested
Develop and support the Commerce data warehouse
Document all activities, processes or other work
Gain a functional understanding of the professional licensing applications at a data structure, table, column and row level
Qualification
Required
