Spacecraft Integration Manager

Responsibilities
Lead and manage Integration Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers, providing technical guidance, clear priorities, and defined work scope
Develop and maintain a prioritized backlog of manufacturing engineering work as new spacecraft programs are contracted
Coordinate with integration leads, planners, and program teams to ensure engineering and technician resources are aligned with build demand
Identify and drive process improvements within manufacturing engineering to improve quality, reliability, traceability, and efficiency
Temporarily act as Technician Supervisor when required, optimizing technician utilization to meet program priorities
Ensure technician workforce readiness through staffing coordination, daily execution support, and issue resolution
Define, maintain, and enforce a technician training and qualification matrix, including hazardous operations and safety-critical tasks
Partner with quality, safety, and operations teams to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
7+ years of experience in spacecraft, aerospace, or high-reliability hardware manufacturing, including 3+ years in a technical leadership or people management role
Experience in spacecraft, aerospace, or high-reliability hardware manufacturing environments
Demonstrated experience leading engineers or technical teams in a production setting
Strong understanding of spacecraft assembly, integration, and test operations
Preferred
Experience with low-volume, high-complexity hardware production
Background in hazardous operations, technician training systems, or safety-critical environments
Experience supporting multiple concurrent programs or scaling production operations
