Administrative Assistant II (TEMP)
University of Central Florida is a leader in nursing education and is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant II to provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Dean of the College of Nursing. This role involves managing communications, coordinating meetings and events, and assisting with various administrative tasks to ensure efficient workflow within the Dean’s Office.

Responsibilities
Provides comprehensive administrative support to the Dean, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements and phone and email correspondence
Manages incoming communications (email, phone, mail) and respond or route appropriately
Maintains confidential files, records, and data in accordance with university policies
Coordinates logistics for meetings, events, and committees
Coordinates travel arrangements, reservations for conferences, and meeting logistics
Assists with budget tracking, expense reconciliation, and purchasing processes
Maintains office procedures and support efficient workflow within the Dean’s Office
Supports committee work, including agenda preparation, minutes, and document distribution
Provides administrative support for special projects, initiatives, and strategic priorities
Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to collaboration with the Events Manager to assist with meetings and special events related to the Dean's Office
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6)
Preferred
Experience in higher education, academic administration, or supporting senior leadership preferred
Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects and tasks, including tracking progress, managing timelines, and communicating with multiple stakeholders to ensure completion
Experience in a customer service-oriented role with the ability to interact professionally and provide courteous responses to inquiries from partners and external stakeholders
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data management, reporting, and correspondence
Proficient in coordinating meetings and events
