The intern will work with Test Engineers to design custom printed circuit boards, develop production test code, qualify instruments for test applications, and analyze production test data.

Responsibilities

Designing or revising custom printed circuit boards to be used in a test fixture
Developing production test code for the next generation of NI products
Qualifying instruments for use in a Test application to be deployed to Manufacturing
Analyzing production test data to look for trends which indicate the health of the product and/or test solution

High-level programming languagesAnalog signal considerationsStatistical analysis of dataIntegration of hardwareSoftwareHands-on experience with hardwareRF communicationSources of measurement errorAppropriate selection of instrumentation

Required

BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role

Preferred

High-level programming languages (e.g. LabVIEW, TestStand, Python)
Analog signal considerations
Sources of measurement error
Appropriate selection of instrumentation
Statistical analysis of data
Integration of hardware and software
Hands-on experience with electronic hardware
Experience with high frequency circuit design, RF and wireless communication is highly desirable
