New Grad, Entry LevelStepStone Hospitality is seeking a Host or Hostess to provide a warm and professional greeting to guests. The role involves managing reservations, seating guests, and ensuring a smooth service flow while maintaining the cleanliness of the front entrance.

Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and professionally as they arrive
Manage reservations and walk-ins using a reservation system or waitlist app
Seat guests in a timely and organized manner, based on table availability and server rotation
Provide menus and inform guests of any specials or wait times
Answer phone calls and assist with questions, takeout orders, or booking requests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and front entrance
Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and managers to ensure smooth service flow
Monitor dining room activity and guest satisfaction
Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to work in a fast-paced, often noisy environment
Friendly and professional demeanor
Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
Ability to stay calm and organized in a busy environment
Basic knowledge of reservation systems and POS (training provided if needed)
Must be available for weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors
Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures
Preferred
Prior host/hostess or customer service experience is a plus
