Tooling Mechanic
Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Tooling Mechanic to support the Tooling & Emergent Operations Team in Berkeley, MO. The role involves programming, setting up, and machining parts on various milling and lathe equipment, as well as maintaining documentation related to tooling items and calibration equipment.

Responsibilities
Program, setup, and machine parts on 3 and 5 axis mills, lathes, and live tooling lathes
Develop, prepare and maintain all documentation related to the design, fabrication, and usage of various tooling items and their respective associated calibration equipment
Utilize manual equipment to fabricate or modify various tooling components (Examples: Bridgeport mill, manual lathe, surface grinder, drill press, etc.)
Other responsibilities may include: Equipment Maintenance & Calibration, CNC machining, Welding, Composites Modification, Tooling Inspection, Laser Tracking, and much more
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience working in a machining environment
High school graduate or GED
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a 'US Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. 'US Person' includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
Preferred
5+ years experience with CAD/CAM Software (MasterCAM)
5+ years of experience in programming & operating CNC machinery (Examples: 3 and 5 axis mills, lathes, live tooling lathes)
Technical trade school certificate/degree (Or appropriate apprenticeship completion)
