Responsibilities
Install, repair, perform preventative maintenance, and qualify water purification systems
Complete preventive maintenance (PMs) in the month due
Complete installations within two weeks once customer sites are ready
Perform repairs as requested by customers
Conduct system validations and qualifications as required
Respond to service requests with response times ranging from 24 hours onsite up to two weeks, depending on scope
Provide professional service while respecting all customer on-site rules and housekeeping practices
Maintain an accurate daily schedule for internal visibility
Communicate schedules to customers in advance and adapt to repair needs
Notify Manager when schedules impact customer satisfaction or requested timelines
Maintain timely, courteous, and professional communication with customers and internal teams
Emergency responses may require a 2-hour callback window and up to 24-hour onsite response
Accurately and completely document all Work Orders and related service documentation
Close Work Orders daily
Provide customers with documentation of completed work, including:
Service Reports
Meter Verification Reports
Routine Maintenance documentation
Maintain physical consignment inventory in accordance with SOPs and suggested value limits
Ensure inventory accuracy compared to documented records
Maintain tools and test equipment in proper working order and calibration, including:
Hand tools and minor power tools
Test equipment and meters used for verification and qualification
Generate leads for new hardware, consumables, accessories, and service contracts using the CRM tool
Assist with custom engineered system installations with support from Supervisor, Manager, or Custom Systems Team
Adhere to NA Fleet Vehicle Policy
Submit expense reports every two weeks
Meet customer site requirements, including vendor credentialing, background checks, and immunization requirements as needed
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree
High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of field service experience and/or skilled trade experience
Minimum 1 year of field service experience and/or experience in applicable skilled trades
Must have water treatment experience
Proficiency with tools and test equipment, including: Basic construction tools (screwdrivers, drills, power tools), Test boxes and meters for system verification and qualification
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle difficult customers and challenging situations
Basic IT skills (computer use, software uploads, iPad and iPhone usage)
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Overnight travel required (10%–60%) depending on territory, training, and coverage needs
Must possess a current passport or be eligible to obtain one
Willingness to work outside normal business hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs without assistance and up to 165 lbs with assistance
Clean driving record for rental vehicle use
