Successfully performs clinical procedures while working with a registered technologist
Follows established radiation safety protocols for patient and staff
Demonstrates professional practice standards
Provides appropriate patient care for all Radiology patient needs
Assists with the department standards for Radiology equipment
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment as a second year student of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
Must meet school of radiology program competencies for all routine radiographic procedures and specialty work
Basic Life Support Certification (CPR- Healthcare Provider) within 480 hours of employment and meets re-certification as required
Pursuing registry through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
