Responsibilities
Answers phones
Greets students, visitors, faculty, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
Manages posts on the department's social media sites
Assists with the department Canvas page
Assists with the Groups newsletter
Assists with managing the department's e-mail account
Makes special calls to students at the director's request
Assists with preparing materials for different program events
Assists in the processing of applications
Provides support to all Groups Scholars Program classes
Assists the Director, Associate Director, and Advisors with assigned tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Maintains a high degree of professionalism
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Demonstrates attention to detail
Ability to efficiently balance multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
Ability to work with frequent interruptions
Ability to follow written and oral instructions with limited supervision
Ability to multi-task
Preferred
2 months of office experience
