The Sr Finance Business Analyst provides support and maintenance of Financial Information Systems, ensuring data integrity, testing system changes, and identifying process improvements.

Responsibilities

Generates standard and ad hoc reports and Finance metrics, and continuously research, review, compile, and analyze financial data

Provide support for Accounting & Finance including, but not limited to, researching and resolving FIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities, reports and audits; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements

Maintain Accounting and Finance and affiliated system or database tables and system set up/configuration

Provide liaison support between functional end users, external vendors and local IT, assisting in the development of tools and programs that meet user expectations within system capabilities

Assist in the review, testing and implementation of FIS system upgrades or patches

Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix
