Responsibilities
Support the pump sustaining engineering team with:
Hardware disposition decisions
Test failure investigations and root cause analysis (RCA)
Maintain, track, and report defined supplier performance metrics
Ensure supplier work products meet technical, quality, and documentation requirements
Support supply chain activities, including:
Supplier coordination and technical support
Supply chain transition and validation testing
Assist with engineering drawing changes and related technical documentation updates
Review outsourced work products to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance
Support audit readiness and participate in supplier or internal audits as required
Ensure all work aligns with applicable standards, contractual requirements, and technical specifications
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or related discipline preferred)
Experience in aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
Demonstrated experience with: Supplier quality or sustaining engineering
Root cause analysis and failure investigations
Hardware disposition (MRB, nonconformances, deviations)
Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and test data
Proven documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
US Citizenship required due to ITAR restrictions
Preferred
Experience supporting pump systems or rotating mechanical hardware
Exposure to supply chain transition or validation testing
Prior experience working under SOW-driven programs
Audit participation or supplier oversight experience
