Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional efforts through collaboration and influence. Work closely with departmental and operational leads to ensure alignment with synergy goals, without direct reporting authority
Independently manage all aspects of synergy project planning, execution, and reporting, including tracking milestones, adjusting timelines, and producing detailed reports. This role requires a self-sufficient project manager capable of balancing strategic objectives with tactical execution
The focus of the pre-deal phase is on developing a consistent synergy calculation logic and identifying available synergy potentials. The synergy manager qualifies and quantifies synergies. Using company data, the synergy manager verifies the estimated synergy potentials
The synergy manager analyses the criteria that play a key role in prioritizing and realizing the synergy potentials: an initiative’s effect, the speed of execution, its sustainability, and how well it fits the corporate culture
Once the right synergy levers have been identified and the deal is closed, synergy manager is responsible for verifying, driving, and, as part of a broader team, delivering the results
Identify, monitor, and manage interdependencies across acquisition projects, ensuring initiatives complement each other and contribute to the broader success of the integration effort
Proactively identify potential risks that may impact synergy realization, and work with teams to mitigate these risks, ensuring smooth execution across projects
Serve as the primary point of contact for program-related communications. Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to review project progress, discuss challenges, and align on next steps. Ensure that all stakeholders are informed of project progress, risks, and issues in a timely manner
