Responsibilities
Maintain, diagnose, and repair generator systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
Conduct regular performance checks and maintenance, interpreting blueprints and design specifications for precise repair and installation
Install and test water and fuel supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring, and controls for proper operation
Respond promptly to power and generator alarms, maintaining 24/7 on-call readiness if necessary
Adhere to safety protocols, attending safety training sessions to mitigate potential hazards
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 1 year experience in generator and electrical maintenance, with 2+ years preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair, including electronic, mechanical, and electrical components
Basic understanding of pertinent FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations
Capacity to lift over 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks such as stooping, bending, and climbing
Willingness to drive long distances and work flexible hours, including overtime and emergency callouts
Ability to pass a DOT physical and comply with OSHA standards
