Responsibilities
Create and develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for automotive components
Lead concept design, design reviews, and design optimization activities
Apply GD&T principles and ensure manufacturability and assembly feasibility
Conduct design analysis including tolerance analysis and packaging studies
Support DFMEA, design validation, and engineering change management
Coordinate with manufacturing, suppliers, and quality teams during product development
Ensure designs meet functional, safety, cost, and performance targets
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Design Engineer in the automotive domain
Expertise in CAD tools such as CATIA, NX, Creo, or SolidWorks
Strong understanding of automotive design standards and best practices
Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems
Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly methods
