Medicaid Compliance Analyst
Charlie Health is a rapidly growing organization dedicated to connecting individuals with life-saving behavioral health treatment. The Medicaid Compliance Analyst will promote and enforce compliance with Medicaid regulations, working cross-functionally as a subject matter expert to ensure effective care delivery for clients with Medicaid plans.

Responsibilities
Proactively monitoring Medicaid regulations for any new and/or amended requirements and submitting them for review for the Regulatory Change Management team
Developing a repository for all Medicaid regulations, guidance, and interpretation
Performing gap analysis of new states where the business is beginning to establish Medicaid contracts and working with business units to address gaps
Communicating with and building rapport with state Medicaid departments
Partnering with the Growth Strategy and Commercial Strategy teams to build rapport with contracted Medicaid Health Plans and participating in Provider Forums and onboarding discussions
Participating in state Medicaid audits, inspections, and surveys; providing audit readiness assessments and guidance to impacted business units
Instituting internal audit or monitoring activities for Medicaid related deficiencies
Managing development of corrective action plans in response to deficiency notices received from state Medicaid plans
Initiating and managing corrective action plans resulting from internal audits/monitoring activities

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Experience dealing with multiple internal and external customers
Excellent verbal and written communication
Outstanding organizational and time management skills; detail oriented
Self-starter with a demonstrated history of taking ownership of projects and executing them with minimal supervision
Outside the box thinker; excellent at problem solving, strong critical thinking skills. Ability to see situations from multiple points of view
Familiarity with and willingness to use cloud-based communication software—Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, Salesforce–in addition to EMR and survey software
Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and listening skills, with a natural, consultative style
Ability to energize, communicate, and build rapport at all levels within an organization
Strong project management skills, with a demonstrable ability to corral and manage details in a fast-paced, fluid environment
Experience advising, presenting to, and persuading senior corporate personnel
Able to work a hybrid schedule of 4 days/week in our NYC office and located within 45 minutes' commuting distance of the office
Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency
Preferred
0-3 years of relevant work experience. Medicaid, healthcare, and/or behavioral health experience in work, internship, or education setting is highly preferred
