Shift Supervisor - VUE Stabilization

Bowery Residents' Committee is dedicated to helping New Yorkers experiencing homelessness reclaim their lives. They are seeking a Shift Supervisor to supervise Community Technicians, assist with departmental tasks, and provide client care and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

Supervise the Community Technicians
Assist the Site Coordinator with the oversight of departmental tasks and goals
This includes, but is not limited to, record keeping, statistical reports, unit coverage, and client care/crisis intervention
Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed
Related duties as assigned

Required

H.S. diploma/GED required
Very good writing skills and computer literacy required
First Aid and Fire Safety certification, or ability to pass tests to acquire these credentials, required
CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR

Preferred

B.A. preferred
One year supervisory experience preferred
Experience working with homeless, mentally ill, and substance abuse populations preferred
Experience working in residential settings also preferred
Bilingual Spanish a plus
Vaccination preferred but not required
