Continuous Improvement Manager

Responsibilities

Analyze and understand current processes in the plant in relation to, but not limited to, planning, buying, scheduling, operator interfaces, labor planning, build planning, plant floor reporting, inventory management, and warehouse management
Ensure best practices are shared across sites and consistent with the Caldwell quality management system
Identify opportunities in procedures, scope of works, responsibilities, interactions, relationships, etc
Work with site Staff on opportunities, project definition, participation, and cross-functional alignment
Facilitate teams on projects to understand root causes and develop the list of actions for improvement
Follow up on confirmation of actions taken, and results attainment – immediately and over time
Provide communication thru report outs to site teams as well as across sites and to corporate leaders
Escalate as necessary
Participate in the planning and execution of new ERP system, IFS. Assist in operator training and understanding during and after go-live
Attend Daily Production Meeting on Plant Floor and on Zoom call

Required

Strong ERP background
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to lead and be independent
Scheduling, Planning, CI, and Operations Acumen
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Production/Operations Management, Purchasing or equivalent business experience
7-10 years progressive experience in supply chain or operations management
