2+ years expRiver Valley Foods is expanding and seeking a hands-on, people-first Warehouse Team Lead to support their fast-paced specialty food distribution center. In this role, you will lead a team, improve processes, and ensure smooth warehouse operations while working closely with the on-duty Supervisor.

Responsibilities
Run daily startup meetings and communicate priorities
Coach, train, and motivate new and existing team members
Reinforce safe work habits and set the tone for a positive, productive shift
Allocate work and adjust staffing based on the day’s needs
Monitor workflow, productivity, and accuracy throughout the shift
Perform equipment pre-op checks and maintain safety and SQF standards
Keep aisles clean, organized, and hazard-free
Complete daily logs, reports, and temperature checks
Support receiving, selecting, replenishment, sanitation, and pallet movement
Operate warehouse equipment (jacks, high lifts, forklifts) safely
Qualification
Required
2+ years of warehouse experience (lead or trainer experience a plus)
Comfortable leading a team and giving clear direction
Ability to train new employees and reinforce safe work habits
Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklift, high lift, jacks)
Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
Reliable, positive attitude, and willingness to jump in where needed
