Senior LevelRIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced software engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of complex software solutions for NextEra Energy. The engineer will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, primarily working with a Python-based backend and a Vue frontend deployed on AWS.

Support the design, development, and delivery of complex software solutions
Contribute across the full software development lifecycle
Work primarily within a modern web application stack (Python-based backend with a Vue frontend)
Independently own significant technical work
Contribute to system and component-level design
Write well-tested and maintainable code
Participate fully in agile ceremonies
Qualification
Required
Experience as a software engineer
Strong technical depth in software development
Ability to ramp up quickly on large and evolving codebases
Comfort working through ambiguous or evolving requirements
Experience in close collaboration with internal teams and customers
Ability to independently own significant technical work
Experience contributing to system and component-level design
Ability to write well-tested and maintainable code
Participation in agile ceremonies
Experience with cloud environments
Experience with databases
Experience supporting production workloads
Ability to communicate clearly
Ability to surface risks early
Ability to help guide technical decisions during delivery
Must come from an enterprise company like Google, Meta, Nike, etc
