Responsibilities
Support Rod Mill testing requirements and perform tests accurately and in a timely manner
Support Wire and Cable Mill testing requirements
Work effectively with basic tasks with little to no supervision
Ability to work safely, always, and maintain working area clean and organized during 12 hr. shift
Ability to walk constantly walking during the shift throughout the facility to collect samples required for testing
Majority of time in QA Lab requires standing while performing job duties
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a high school diploma is required
Experience with using calipers, micrometers, small scales
Ability to perform basic tasks and tests during short periods
Ability to make basic judgement calls based on specifications and standards
Good reading and writing skills, able to solve basic mathematics / problems
Basic level skills in MS Word and MS Excel
Ability to work in a group setting, participating in problem-solving teams
Preferred
One year wire and cable manufacturing or testing experience
