Responsibilities
Lead Software Development & Test Engineering Initiatives
Provide operational and development support for manufacturing test software used in production environments
Maintain and enhance existing codebases, while architecting and delivering new features
Build and support development frameworks that enable clear behavioral and high-level software design specifications
Establish and enforce software engineering best practices for development, deployment, and sustaining activities
Improve build systems, methodologies, and overall development environments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
10+ years of experience in software development or test engineering
Experience with several of the following: Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, JPA/Hibernate, JDBC, React and modern web development, RESTful APIs, GraalVM (native compilation), Microservices architecture, Event-Driven Architecture (Message Bus, NATS, Kafka, etc.), Virtual Threads, Software testing (unit, integration, mocking), Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Git and deployment best practices, Observability, security, analytics, AI, Database management & optimization
Proficiency in at least one additional programming language
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
Background working with enterprise hardware such as servers, storage, or networking products
