Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on elevator systems
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
Install new elevator systems in residential and commercial buildings
Respond to emergency service calls and perform after-hours repairs when required
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns professionally
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Collaborate with team members and assist in training junior technicians
Conduct system testing to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Stay current on advancements in elevator technology
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency

Required

Strong electrical or mechanical background
Willingness to obtain elevator-specific certifications (training provided)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Availability for on-call or after-hours work as needed
Ability to read electrical schematics, circuits, and blueprints
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
Physically able to lift, climb, and work in confined spaces
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Commitment to safety and maintaining a safe work environment

Preferred

Prior elevator experience preferred but not required
