Responsibilities
Design, implement, and optimize Salesforce solutions that align with agency goals, compliance frameworks, and service mandates
Collaborating with program managers and policy leads to converting operational requirements into functional Salesforce capabilities
Ensure platform configurations meet data governance, cybersecurity, and accessibility standards including FedRAMP, FISMA, and Section 508
Integrate Salesforce with legacy systems to streamline workflows and enhance interagency collaboration
Provide training and knowledge transfer to government teams, fostering long-term platform sustainability
Qualification
Preferred
Hands-on Salesforce Development: 3–5+ years of direct experience in developing and shipping Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Components (Aura/LWC), and Visualforce pages
Salesforce Data Model Proficiency: Advanced skills in designing and refactoring complex custom objects, lookups, master-detail relationships, and automation (Flows, Process Builder)
Integrations experience: Build/Maintain integrations – API (Rest/Soap) with 3rd parties, OAuth, Mulesoft, etc
Testing/Deployments: Automated tests / BDD; CI/CD - Copado expertise
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and public sector IT compliance frameworks
Ability to translate programmatic needs into agile technical solutions
Salesforce Certified Administrator
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer
Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Developer
Salesforce Certified Consultant (Public Sector Solutions, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud)
Scrum experience is preferred
