5+ years expNever Ending Solutions is seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineer to architect and build a secure, scalable data platform for a large-scale public sector project. The role involves end-to-end execution of the project, including setting up a secure 'Landing Zone' in GCP and building automated data ingestion pipelines from Salesforce to visualize data through Looker Studio dashboards.

Responsibilities
Provision and configure GCP projects (IAM, Networking, APIs) within an existing shared tenant, ensuring strict 'non-interference' with other existing applications
Implement Zero-Trust security controls, including VPC Service Controls and Customer-Managed Encryption Keys (CMEK) to align with FedRAMP/SOC2 standards
Build secure, automated ingestion pipelines (using Cloud Dataflow or Cloud Functions) to extract data from Salesforce into BigQuery
Design normalized BigQuery schemas and data models to support high-performance public querying
Develop public-facing Looker Studio dashboards that are mobile-responsive and accessible
Configure dashboards for embedding into Salesforce Experience Cloud
Integrate Google Maps API for GIS/spatial visualization of jurisdictional districts
Ensure all public-facing interfaces meet strict WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards
Implement automated workflows for multi-language translation (12+ languages) for all static dashboard text
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with at least 3+ years specifically focused on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem
Proven track record of delivering cloud solutions that meet high-security compliance standards (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST)
Ability to document complex architectural decisions and translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders
Deep expertise in BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow/Functions, IAM, and Cloud Storage
Proven experience building complex, interactive dashboards in Looker Studio
Experience extracting data from Salesforce (SOQL, APIs) and embedding external content into Salesforce Experience Cloud
Familiarity with secure cloud architecture and government/enterprise security standards
Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines and Mobile-First design principles
Preferred
GCP Professional Data Engineer or GCP Professional Cloud Architect certifications are highly preferred
Experience with GIS/Geospatial data (Google Maps API, Shapefiles)
Previous experience working with Government or Public Sector agencies
