8+ years expOrion Group is seeking a Head of Supplier Operations to lead supplier strategy and operational initiatives across a portfolio of commercial HVAC businesses. This role is responsible for owning the supplier operating model and driving initiatives that improve cost reduction and operational consistency across the network.

Responsibilities
Own senior-level relationships with key suppliers, OEMs, and distributors
Lead negotiation of network-wide pricing structures, rebate programs, and commercial agreements
Establish supplier standards and oversee performance reviews and scorecards
Identify opportunities to leverage scale across the network to reduce cost and improve outcomes
Define procurement and supplier standards to be adopted across operating companies
Provide governance for purchasing workflows, item setup standards, inventory, warranty, and rebate processes
Drive adoption of enterprise initiatives such as preferred supplier programs, spend consolidation, and system enablement
Monitor compliance and adoption using KPIs and dashboards and partner with OpCo leadership to close gaps
Partner with Finance and IT to evaluate, implement, and optimize systems supporting supplier operations and spend visibility
Ensure tools and processes are scalable, practical, and aligned with field operations
Drive continuous improvement through standardization and automation where it creates value
Lead through influence across operating company leadership and functional partners
Act as a strategic partner to operations leaders with a focus on margin improvement and cost discipline
Build alignment and momentum across the network using a servant leadership mindset
Qualification
Required
Strong commercial instincts with proven experience managing supplier relationships and negotiations
Deep operational mindset with the ability to balance standardization and field realities
Financially disciplined with a strong understanding of cost drivers, margins, and spend management
Systems-oriented thinker focused on scalable solutions and sustainable adoption
Highly data-driven with experience using KPIs and dashboards to drive accountability
Comfortable operating cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, IT, and field leadership
Confident leader who can influence without direct authority
8–15+ years of experience in supplier management, procurement, operations, or related leadership roles
Experience in multi-location, decentralized, or PE-backed services environments preferred
Track record of leading enterprise initiatives that require broad adoption rather than direct execution
