Responsibilities
Apply systems engineering principles to space-based systems, including digital signal processing algorithms implemented in hardware and software
Perform statistical analysis of signal parameter measurements using Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications & Information Theory
Utilize MATLAB for DSP and related toolboxes; experience with radar processing, RF mitigation, Monte Carlo analysis, or phased array/beamforming is highly desirable
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field (Science, Engineering, Mathematics)
5+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years
U.S. citizenship required; must meet eligibility for classified information access
Preferred
Python programming
SmallSat and CubeSat development
Hardware prototype development and integration (“FlatSat,” hardware-in-the-loop testing)
Electrical or systems engineering with communications/DSP focus
Agile hardware/software/firmware development, DevOps, CI/CD
Digital Engineering/MBSE (SysML, MagicDraw, Cameo)
Space payload design, development, and integration/testing
