R&D Intern

The R&D Intern will work collaboratively with the Wound Closure & Healing and Biosurgery Life Cycle Management team, assisting with ongoing projects and gaining practical experience in industrial R&D.

Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with WCH&B LCM R&D staff supporting ongoing projects
Assist with activities associated with ongoing projects, including hands-on lab work
Participate in ongoing project team meetings including slide preparation for research updates and clear communication of results
Be exposed to various other functions within the larger cross-functional departments
Qualification
Required
Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a bachelor's degree, preferably in an engineering (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science Engineering) or science-related field (e.g., Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry)
Demonstrates strong communication and presentation skills, work effectively in teams, collaborate seamlessly with others
Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future
Preferred
Students who have hands-on lab work (either through classwork or research) will be preferred
