Responsibilities
Provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for the nonprofit hospice program
Ensure high-quality, patient-centered end-of-life care aligned with the organization’s mission and community needs
Oversee program growth, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, financial stewardship, and interdisciplinary team performance
Serve as a visible ambassador to healthcare partners, community stakeholders, and regulatory agencies
Collaborate closely with executive leadership, the Board, and Medical Staff to drive sustainable growth, maintain CMS and state compliance, and cultivate a high-performing, mission-driven workforce
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated expertise in operations management and budgeting
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 3 years in hospice management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Commitment to exceptional customer service and a patient-first care philosophy
Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal regulations and hospice industry standards
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Preferred
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
