Level 2 Field Services Engineer
Elevate Technology Solutions is seeking a Field Services Engineer to support a growing portfolio of life sciences and biotech customers. This client-facing role involves delivering deskside and remote IT support, primarily in the Life Sciences / Biotech / Pharma space, with a focus on high-touch service for VIP users.
Responsibilities
Provide onsite IT support 4 days/week across Framingham/Waltham and nearby client locations; 1 day/week remote
Build and deploy laptops (Windows via Intune; Mac via Kandji), onboard users, and run workstation lifecycle
Troubleshoot Level 1–2 tickets (A/V, Wi-Fi, VPN, printers, conference rooms, MFA, phone systems)
Deliver high-touch support to VIP and executive users with urgency and discretion
Support Windows 11 upgrades and rollouts
Collaborate with Elevate’s Helpdesk Lead for escalations and documentation
Qualification
Required
3+ years in IT support or Field Services; prior MSP experience strongly preferred
Experience supporting Life Sciences / Biotech / Pharma environments or willingness to complete required lab safety protocols
Technical depth across: Windows & macOS support
Intune and Kandji imaging / deployment
Azure / AWS fundamentals
Identity & Access Management (Okta/Entra) strongly desired
Soft skills: polished client presence, strong communication, ability to support senior stakeholders, self-directed, reliable
Must be local to Boston and able to travel routinely to client sites
Reports to Elevate's Quincy office when not onsite
Preferred
Scripting (PowerShell or Python) a plus
