Program Manager, Office of Overseas Programs - Arts and Sciences
Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis is looking for a Program Manager to join the Office of Overseas Programs in the College of Arts and Sciences. The Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating and executing student-facing programs to enhance undergraduate student engagement in international academic experiences.

Responsibilities
Responsible for coordination of projects and specialized planning for WashU-run international education experiences
Coordinate and execute core processes for ongoing project areas, including (but not limited to) study abroad scholarships, services for incoming international exchange students, study abroad returnee network of peer advisors and ambassadors
Provide programming and administrative support for specific WashU-run study abroad programs such as WashU in Spain, WashU in Chile, WashU in Germany, exchange, and faculty-led opportunities
Collaborate with other units on campus in the implementation of processes and services
In consultation with the Director and Assistant Directors, identify and streamline processes for improvement and growth
Develop outreach strategies and training programs for special populations such as scholarship applicants, student workers, international exchange students, etc
Make any decisions as needed in consultation with Overseas Programs staff about selection of students for programs or awards
In collaboration with the Director and the Assistant Director, assess programs through qualitative and quantitative analysis
Advise students on study abroad opportunities, help students identify opportunities that align with academic and personal goals, and communicate with students about ongoing issues concerning their program or application
Work collaboratively with study abroad program providers and partner institutions abroad to remain current on both student and program-related issues
Collaborate with campus partners and departments on international educational programming needs
Represent Overseas Programs at campus events and promote opportunities and programs
In consultation with the Director and the Assistant Director, identify and streamline processes for improvement and growth, particularly with regard to student access
Liaise with Departmental Study Abroad Advisors as needed on various topics related to student preparation, program updates, and credit evaluations
Assist with office operations such as answering the Overseas Programs email inbox, web site updates, and special student outreach initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education
Relevant Experience (3 Years)
No specific certification/professional license is required for this position
