Responsibilities

Candidate will assist in electrical and mechanical design of crystal oscillators for integration into manufacturing

Assist in the design creation including circuit design, mechanical design, board layout, prototype evaluation, and creation of supporting documentation

Perform testing of new and existing oscillator designs in a lab environment using various types of electrical test equipment

Troubleshoot oscillator circuits

Building and testing of breadboards

Qualification

Required

Current student in a BSEE or BSET program

Knowledge of electronics theory, specifically analog and digital circuits and components used in rf signal generation and wave shaping

Basic knowledge of electronic simulation software for the design and simulation of circuits

Basic knowledge of test equipment: Power supplies, Oscilloscopes, Multi-Meters, Frequency Counters, Spectrum Analyzers, etc

Self-driven to lead and complete projects within established commitment times

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate interaction with cross-functional teams

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
