Responsibilities
Works with team to on general lab functions; including calibration, implementation of safety procedures, and routine equipment maintenance
Notifies manager or team lead upon recognition of factors that may affect project
Helps develop prototype processes and test set-ups
Executes designed test protocol and conducts testing
Effectively documents and communicates test results
Handles test samples and chemicals used for conditioning and testing
Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes
Produces engineering document, reports, and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams and schematics)
Prepares reports and summaries, including quantitative analysis
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in a technical area
At least 1 year of experience in a laboratory/R&D setting following written procedures
Ability to work collaboratively with a team
Experience in calibration, implementation of safety procedures, and routine equipment maintenance
Ability to notify manager or team lead upon recognition of factors that may affect project
Experience in developing prototype processes and test set-ups
Ability to execute designed test protocol and conduct testing
Ability to effectively document and communicate test results
Experience in handling test samples and chemicals used for conditioning and testing
Ability to gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data
Ability to produce engineering documents, reports, and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams and schematics)
