Legal Intern, Employment, Immigration & Compliance

Pernod Ricard USA is a global premium spirits and wine company seeking a Legal Intern to join their Employment, Immigration & Compliance Legal Team. This internship will provide hands-on exposure to in-house legal practice, focusing on preparing immigration visa applications, drafting contracts and policies, and conducting legal research.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys and legal staff with preparing immigration visa applications and supporting documentation
Support the team with drafting and updating contracts and policies related to employment, compliance, and immigration matters
Create and refine presentations, training decks, and internal materials to support employee education and compliance guidance
Conduct legal research and analysis (including using Westlaw) in the areas of employment, compliance, and immigration law, and summarize findings for the team
Help manage multiple assignments at once by tracking deadlines, organizing work product, and following up on action items
Work full-time during Summer 2026 and continue supporting the team part-time during Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 (15- 20 hours/week)

Required

2L at an accredited law school with a strong academic record
Authorized to work in the United States and at least 21 years of age
Available to work full-time in Summer 2026 and 15-20 hours/week during Fall 2026 and Spring 2027
Prior experience in a legal working environment
Westlaw competency and strong legal research skills
Ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to see both detail and big-picture issues
Demonstrated willingness to learn, ask questions, and take feedback

Preferred

moot court or law review/journal experience
coursework and/or experience in employment and/or immigration law
experience with corporate law and contract analysis/drafting
