Responsibilities
Design and build multi-layered permission and role-based access systems using policy-driven and consensus-based approaches
Develop auto-remediation and exception management engines supporting financial fund flows
Build highly performant systems, including search capabilities with sub-millisecond latency as a guiding goal
Design and maintain highly concurrent, robust, and self-healing batch processing systems
Contribute to backend-focused, distributed system architectures supporting payments and money movement
Support workflow orchestration across multiple financial services
Write high-quality, well-tested production code that meets scalability and reliability requirements
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience working with distributed systems
Strong backend engineering experience (non-frontend focused)
Experience with payments, fintech, cryptocurrency, or money movement systems
Experience contributing as a senior engineer on small to medium-sized teams
Experience with platformization and building reusable backend platforms
Strong understanding of concurrency, performance, and fault tolerance
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
Preferred
Experience in regulated or financial environments
Exposure to high-volume, low-latency systems
Comfort working in multi-language backend environments
