Programs Field Representative - Investigations
The State of Oklahoma is dedicated to promoting health and preventing disease through its Oklahoma State Department of Health. They are seeking a Programs Field Representative - Investigations to serve as a liaison between state offices and local provider agencies, ensuring the proper application of investigation policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
Regularly visits local provider agencies as a representative of Office of Client Advocacy to ensure proper interpretation and uniform application of investigation policies, procedures, rules and regulations
Appropriately applies investigative skills, to include interviewing and engagement, critical thinking, and safety-based decision-making
Regularly updates the Investigations Handbook and Investigator Tool Kit
Help create and regularly reviews and updates standardized investigations’ onboarding training
Seeks out additional training opportunities for investigators
Serves as backup to assign VA investigations to VA investigators and complete law enforcement notification letters
Regularly updates training guide for new investigators after updates
Schedules quarterly I-Team meetings including creating an agenda with topics
Plans and Schedules monthly Lunch and Learns with investigators
Work closely with managers of new staff to train and organize shadow opportunities with experienced investigators
Tracks trends of number of cases assigned, types of cases assigned, peaks in facilities with assigned investigations, peaks in time periods of increased assignments and tracks investigative outcomes by allegation and finding
Being present in the office is an essential function of this job
Other duties as assigned
Demonstrates knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior
Works effectively in team environment, participating and assisting their peers
Qualification
Required
Master's degree
Three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation
Equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of additional qualifying experience for each year of the required education
Willing and able to perform all job-related travel normally associated with this position
Possess a valid driver's license
Knowledge of agency policies and procedures
Knowledge of all state and federal legislation related to assigned agency programs
Knowledge of sound methods of community organization and planning
Knowledge of current social and economic problems
Ability to evaluate programs
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to interpret and apply policy material
