Preventive Maintenance Program Manager
The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is a leading research institution that is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Program Manager to oversee the preventive maintenance program for the Building Maintenance & Grounds Division. This role involves managing budgets, developing maintenance schedules, and coordinating regulatory inspections, while supervising support personnel.

Responsibilities
Manage the BMG Preventive Maintenance Program, including oversight of assigned funding to ensure full utilization without deficit spending; assignment of appropriate funding sources and cost apportionment; preparation of estimates and budget proposals; analysis and reporting of manpower needs and costs; and creation of work orders for assets funded by BMG and campus clients
Collect, input, modify, and maintain asset data primarily using F&S’s integrated workplace management system (IWMS), AiM. Includes assignment of asset identification numbers; collaboration with multiple stakeholders including the asset management crew, shop supervisors, other F&S personnel, and campus clients; identification, scheduling, and inclusion of newly acquired or identified equipment into the preventive maintenance program
Develop, maintain, and administer preventive maintenance systems and schedules, including the preventive maintenance system manual; equipment naming and classification standards; preventive maintenance schedules; estimated maintenance costs; analysis of maintenance schedules; coordination with F&S Building Maintenance Shop Supervisors to ensure adherence to schedules; collaboration with project managers, project coordinators, shop supervisors, and facility managers; administration of the annual review of preventive maintenance activities
Coordinate and administer regulatory inspection programs, including development and maintenance of schedules for boilers, pressure vessels, elevators, dumbwaiters, and lifts; communication with the State Fire Marshal’s Office, state and third-party inspectors; processing, tracking, and approval of related invoicing; supervision of support staff to ensure accurate recordkeeping; and ensuring all required Certificates of Inspection and Certificates of Operation are obtained and maintained

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
A total of three (3) year (36 months) in education, training and/or work experience in facilities maintenance, facilities management, or closely related field
Demonstrated experience managing a preventive maintenance program
Demonstrated experience in preventive maintenance planning, scheduling, compliance, and/or budgeting
Preferred
Demonstrated proficiency/experience with IWMS/CMMS/EAM systems
Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary maintenance teams in an industrial, facilities, or infrastructure environment
Higher education experience
Dynamic, proven customer relations skills and experience
