Responsibilities
Assist in the design, configuration, and maintenance of secure network infrastructures for IL6 and IL7 environments
Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices
Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with DoD and IC security standards
Maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams
Support accreditation and continuous monitoring activities for classified networks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline
Four to eight (4-8) years of experience in network engineering
Familiarity with IL6 and IL7 environments
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
Experience with Cisco or similar network technologies
Understanding of RMF and STIG compliance requirements
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
Security+ certification (DoD 8570 compliant)
Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred
Additional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
Experience with network monitoring tools
Exposure to cloud networking in secure environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)
Basic scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
