Responsibilities
Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies
Responsible for management/execution of projects & programs
Manage scope, issues, risks, and critical path activities through partnership with technology/ business teams, and/or vendors
Create and manage integrated schedule, budget, constraints, risks, and dependencies
Work with stakeholders across functional areas to develop and support POC/soft launches
Conduct system mapping, perform analysis, and enhance processes as needed
Report performance of projects/programs in a portfolio to the project team
Qualification
Required
8+ years project management, 5+ years as an IT Project Manager in an enterprise environment
2+ years Program delivery
3+ years of app dev program management- particularly large, cross-functional development and implementations
Sr PM who has owned an enterprise program (application) with 10+ workstreams or project teams
AIRLINE Project experience with Information Technology teams
Need technical project/program managers to wrangle 20+ technology teams and understand how impact to one team would cause the other
They need to be able to talk the talk with the engineers / developers
Experienced in the application and web space. Knows backend app dev tech stacks (on prem, cloud and any migration exp is ideal)
Be tech savvy enough to be able to know what they're talking about and Understand blockers and how to mitigate it
Budget & Resource Management
Capable of working with a number of teams that have their own methodologies, cadences, tech-stacks, and behaviors- and not getting frustrated by the differences. Needs to be able to meet both an agile micro-service team and a legacy waterfall mono-app team on their terms and get what they need from both
Some experience as a BA and solution architect. Need to be able to help facilitate the answering of questions like 'what is it everyone wants' and 'how can we deliver this' with some experience and a drive to get those answers
