Responsibilities
Lead design and development of RESTful APIs using Apigee
Develop and manage API proxies, policies, and shared flows
Enforce API design standards and development best practices
Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, and threat protection
Optimize APIs for performance, scalability, and reliability
Integrate APIs with backend systems and cloud services
Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
Conduct code reviews and mentor Apigee developers
Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and business teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
12+ years overall experience with strong Apigee hands-on expertise
Strong experience with Apigee proxy and policy development
Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python
Solid understanding of OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS
Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices
Leadership and mentoring experience required
Preferred
Apigee certification is a plus
