Administrative Assistant - Compliance Coordinator

MCCA, Inc. is seeking an Administrative Assistant – Compliance Coordinator to provide essential administrative and compliance support for the Connecticut Medicaid Program. This role focuses on monitoring clinical documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, while also generating reports and responding to inquiries from program directors.

Responsibilities

Monitor clinical documentation including Biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and all billed services to identify potential compliance issues or failed activities
Generate and analyze the weekly Medicaid Non‑Compliance Report using data extracts from Carelogic, including detailed case-level review when necessary
Produce weekly compliance reports for all outpatient and residential programs, highlighting issues related to MCCA and Medicaid standards
Compile and distribute a weekly compliance scoreboard for program directors and senior leadership, summarizing key trends and outstanding issues
Respond promptly to inquiries from program directors regarding compliance findings or report details
Perform additional administrative or compliance-related tasks as assigned by the management team
Reports directly to the QA/Compliance Manager

Required

Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Accounting, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or a related social science field
Minimum two years of office administration and records management experience, demonstrating strong organizational and documentation skills
Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail; and excellent math skills
Expert level of competency with MS Excel required
Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and manage competing deadlines
High proficiency with Office Suite: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
Strong customer service and communication skills
