Responsibilities
Install, program, integrate, and maintain traffic signal components, including:
Detection Systems
Traffic Signals
Edge-Computing Technology
Emergency Vehicle Preemption
Transit Signal Priority
Adaptive Traffic Signal Control
Communications Networks
Transportation Safety Solutions
Cabinets and UPS systems
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting for traffic signal controllers and cabinets
Diagnose and repair wiring issues in cabinets and underground systems
Replace conductors in conduit and test/splice loop detectors in the street
Ensure compliance with Broward County hardware and installation specifications
Work safely in outdoor environments year-round
Qualification
Required
Previous experience in traffic signal installation and maintenance required
Ability to interpret one-line diagrams and blueprints
Valid Driver's License required; CDL training available through company sponsorship
Comfortable working in all weather conditions
Preferred
Familiarity with AutoCAD and Bluebeam preferred
