Responsibilities
Develop recruitment strategies to attract real estate, SaaS, and AI talent across North America
Build pipelines for specialized roles: urban analysts, GIS specialists, developers, real estate advisors, and client success professionals
Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and design clear job architectures
Oversee onboarding, performance management, and compensation benchmarking (especially for real estate-related roles)
Maintain compliance with employment laws and best practices across Canada and the U.S
Foster a hybrid, flexible, and innovation-driven culture
Design learning pathways around PropTech, AI, and real estate trends
Launch recognition and incentive programs aligned with company values
Organize internal “PropTech Fridays” or innovation sessions to keep teams engaged and inspired
Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and team leads in scaling departments
Provide HR analytics reports and insights for talent optimization
Represent UnlockLand at industry networking and career events
Qualification
Required
4+ years of HR, talent acquisition, or people operations experience (preferably in real estate, PropTech, or SaaS)
Strong understanding of real estate role structures (development, brokerage, investment, urban planning)
Experience managing end-to-end recruitment and employee lifecycle in a high-growth environment
Strategic thinker with strong execution skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Passionate about technology, data, and the built environment
Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in creating scalable HR processes
