Responsibilities
Key duties involve architecting solutions, managing complex deployments, ensuring reliability, and troubleshooting issues in production
This role is involved in the configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of all tools needed to support enterprise public cloud services
In all capacities, the person filling this role works directly with operations staff, system specialists, agency technical staff, public cloud staff, and external contractors to ensure consistent delivery of related cloud services
Qualification
Required
Deep expertise in AWS
Terraform, CloudFormation, GitHub
Scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash
CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls
IAM, secrets management, compliance frameworks
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Experience of being a member of a highly technical and highly visible IT team
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong desire to learn and stay current with the latest technologies and trends in the field
Preferred
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 7-10+ years of IT experience with an emphasis in security and compliance
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of IT experience with a strong emphasis in infrastructure engineering
