Responsibilities
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Produce accurate financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Maintain GAAP-compliant practices and internal controls
Support audits, tax filings, and compliance
Manage the company’s monthly operating budget
Track performance vs. plan and identify risks and opportunities
Support forecasting tied to hiring, marketing, inventory, and growth initiatives
Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Ensure timely collections, invoicing accuracy, and vendor payments
Monitor aging, deductions, and chargebacks
Manage vendor terms and payment timing to protect cash flow
Oversee factoring operations (Hildun), including invoice reconciliation, funding tracking, and coordination with internal teams
Build scalable processes and reporting to support growth
Oversee inventory accounting across DTC, wholesale, and retail
Maintain accurate inventory valuation and reconciliation
Partner with merchandising and production on costing and margin tracking
Ensure accuracy in landed cost, freight, and production accounting
Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital planning
Monitor liquidity, runway, and capital needs
Provide visibility into receivable cycles, inventory investment, and operational spend
Qualification
Required
7+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in fashion, retail, or consumer goods
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and ERP systems (Full Circle a plus)
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
Deep understanding of AR/AP, cash flow, and operational finance
Strong attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
CPA strongly preferred
Familiarity with factoring services, particularly Hildun or similar apparel factors
Experience in inventory-driven businesses
