Responsibilities

Engages in projects and meetings related to the current greatest needs of the hospital, focused on areas such as finance, nursing administration, and operations
Focuses on 1-2 key initiatives/projects and develops business plan, proposal, etc. and presents to hospital leadership at the end of the internship
Effectively communicates with administrative, clinical, and health system leadership to facilitate project work and career development
Supports projects and operational needs through data analysis, interpretation, and presentation
Demonstrates attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to meet project deadlines
Other duties as assigned

Required

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University
Be in good academic standing
Must be committed to completing the duration of the internship from June 2026 - August 2026 (Potential for extension can be discussed)
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. Citizen or national, asylee, refugee, or lawful permanent resident
Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 37.5 hours for the duration of the internship
Proficient in MS Office (Specifically Excel)
Strong presentation skills
Excellent analytical and communications skills

Preferred

Enrollment in master's degree in relevant healthcare field (MHA, MHSA, MPH, etc.)
