Responsibilities
Field Supervision: Direct daily construction activities, including piping (SS/Carbon/Alloy), rigging, welding, insulation, and coatings
Safety & Quality: Lead site safety (PTAs/TSOs) and coordinate with QA/QC to verify weld qualifications and code compliance
Project Controls: Manage 3-week look-aheads, track installed quantities/hours, and maintain daily progress reports/photos
Technical Oversight: Read/interpret P&IDs and isometrics; witness equipment alignment and sign off on system testing
Contract Management: Ensure subcontractor compliance, manage RFI responses, and oversee field change orders
Material Logistics: Verify material deliveries meet specs and ensure proper storage and preventative maintenance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree + 7 years of mechanical construction/craft supervision
Associate's Degree + 9 years of experience
HS Diploma + 11 years of experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to read complex structural/mechanical drawings
Strong communication skills and a proven track record in safety leadership
Must meet company driving requirements
