Sales Engineer – Packaging Equipment & Automation
Dartronics, Inc. is seeking a Sales Engineer to own and grow our North New Jersey territory. This role involves selling packaging equipment and automation solutions while managing customer relationships and providing technical support to improve production operations.

Responsibilities
Manage and grow the North New Jersey sales territory
Prospect for new business through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and in-person visits
Develop relationships with manufacturers, operations teams, and decision-makers
Evaluate customer production lines and recommend packaging and automation solutions
Present and demonstrate equipment and systems on-site
Coordinate with internal engineering and service teams to deliver complete solutions
Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and close deals
Attend trade shows, customer visits, and industry events
Maintain CRM activity, pipeline updates, and forecasts
Support customers post-sale with training and long-term service solutions
Qualification
Required
Must live in North New Jersey and be able to travel locally
B2B sales experience (industrial, manufacturing, machinery, or automation preferred)
Comfortable with cold calling and outbound prospecting
Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn technical products
Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
Self-motivated and accountable
Proficiency with Windows-based software and CRM tools
Preferred
Technical or engineering background preferred, not required
