The role involves designing and installing networks, maintaining network security, and providing technical support to end users, while also mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities
Designs, configures and installs project and regional office wired and wireless networks in coordination with the project setup coordinator. In some instances, travel is required (within the US) to the project sites to perform or manage the project network setup
Recommends network and voice communications hardware and software standards
Selects, purchases, configures and installs data network hardware
Performs regular maintenance and upgrades to maintain prescribed SLAs
Establishes and maintains project schedules relating to network technology deployments
Develops and maintains network security practices and prescribes security monitoring procedures
Installs and configures IP voice communications hardware/software
Participates in bi-monthly off-hour scheduled maintenance windows
Alternates weekly on-call responsibility to provide after hours coverage for critical outage issues
Qualification
Required
Cisco DMVPN, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, Firewalls, IPv4, IPv6, IPSec, Meraki, Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems, Splunk, TrendMicro, SNMP, Solarwinds, Voice and Data Network technologies, Wireless Network Technologies, Zscaler, Amazon AWS, Azure, HP/Aruba Clear
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, or 3-5 years of experience in the field or related area
Certified in Cisco (CCNA minimum)
Comfortable with prolonged periods of focused work
Effective communication and sharp visual acuity for reviewing complex documents and performing detailed computer work
Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds regularly, and up to 25 pounds on occasion
Flexibility to work extended hours, especially during critical project phases or client deadlines
Ability to monitor and respond to communications (phone calls, emails, text messages) as required
