Responsibilities
Basic knowledge of conveyors
Experience around DC
Mechanical aptitude
Has used shop/hand tools
Ability to learn ASRS Crane Handy Terminal to control crane and clear load protrusions, clear bin empties, pull out cartons requested
Ability to climb ASRS crane ladder to clear load protrusions, watch and listen for any malfunctions with the ASRS crane, and safety requirements to perform these tasks
Ability to work beside any advanced tech and assist on repairs or breakdowns as required, retrieving parts, handing tools, helping lift parts, and safety requirements to perform these tasks
Ability to learn conveyor functionality to be able to clear jams, reset the conveyor after jams, work beside any advanced tech when asked on repairs or breakdowns, and learn required safety to perform these tasks
Must be CAL OSHA certified on a Turret, Reach, Order Picker, Walker Rider, Manual Pallet equipment, etc
Ability to keep the department OSHA Compliant
Ability to comprehend company customized systems and programs, e.g., PkMS,Crisplant, etc
Extensive knowledge of all company policies and procedures with an emphasis on safety
Communicate with upper management on a daily basis
Good oral and written communication skills
Perform housekeeping duties when needed
Must be able to take constructive criticism
Ability to work in a professional and courteous manner at all times
Must be able to perform any other special projects and/or general requests made by direct supervisor as needed
Ability to contribute hands on
